EthonAI is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer [CH/US]

EthonAI is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to bridge the gap between our technology and our customers' factory floors. In this role, you'll be the critical link, turning customer pain points into actionable insights and software solutions that directly improve operations.

What You'll Do

• Engage directly with customers, including visiting their factories, to understand and empathize with their operational challenges.
• Use EthonAI's software tools to provide proofs of value and deliver key insights to customers.
• Perform custom analytics on real-world data to drive user adoption and demonstrate tangible value.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve production software based on customer feedback and observed needs.
• Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and sales teams to provide the customer's perspective and help refine the platform.

What We're Looking For

• An academic degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Manufacturing Engineering, or Machine Learning.
• A background in IT consulting and/or software engineering.
• A genuine enjoyment of direct customer interaction and solving their problems.
• Working knowledge of Python and SQL.
• Demonstrated ability to use data to understand customer pain points.
• Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English and German.

Nice to Have

• Experience with IoT applications that run on-premise and in the cloud.
