Join Solventum as a Senior Software Engineer. In this remote role, you will apply your full stack expertise with Java/SpringBoot to build high-quality systems that enable better, smarter, safer healthcare. You will join an Agile team dedicated to pioneering innovations that improve lives.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, test, and deploy software as a full stack developer using Java/SpringBoot and solid engineering practices.
- Collaborate with software architects, engineers, and quality engineers to deliver required systems.
- Adhere to team design, coding procedures, and standards.
- Help resolve escalated customer support issues and occasionally interact with customers to solve operational problems.
- Work in an Agile environment, supporting team goals for each sprint by assisting others with their tasks.
- Design and develop automation to increase deliverable quality and accelerate software delivery.
- Participate in retrospective reviews to identify and implement process improvements.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited institution OR a High School Diploma/GED plus a minimum of fourteen (14) years of experience in Information Technology.
- Ten (10) years of experience in software engineering.
Nice to Have
- Full stack experience with Angular and/or React.
- Experience with Postgres, Microservices, Hibernate, Flyway, SQL Databases, and Redis.
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA and Confluence.
- Healthcare IT background involving HL7, HIPAA, or EMR integrations.
- Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Experience with security solutions for detecting and mitigating threats.
- Knowledge of relevant frameworks and standards like NIST, ISO, GDPR, CMMC, FedRamp, or StateRamp.
