Pylon is looking for a Forward Deployed Architect to own the journey of moving customers from their old support systems to our platform. You will combine direct customer interaction with hands-on technical solution building, becoming the key problem-solver for customers as they transition.
What You'll Do
- Combine talking directly with customers with building automated technical solutions.
- Migrate new customers off their legacy support systems onto the Pylon platform.
- Run customer migration meetings within your first week.
- Communicate directly with customers as their main point of contact and guide.
- Become a deep product expert to advise customers on the right solutions.
- Contribute to pre-sales calls as the definitive expert for potential solutions.
- Build expertise in Pylon and the systems we migrate from, like Zendesk and Intercom.
- Juggle multiple customer migrations simultaneously and drive them to completion.
- Iteratively improve the overall migration process.
What We're Looking For
- Located in (or willing to relocate to) San Francisco for in-person work.
- Highly organized, hard-working, and fast-paced; capable of juggling many migrations.
- Detail-oriented and a quick learner who can rapidly become an expert in multiple tools.
- A genuine interest in tinkering with the product and suggesting improvements.
