MAVI - Comercio Global, a leader in importing electronics, appliances, kitchenware, furniture, bicycles, toys, and automotive goods in Mexico, is hiring a Forklift Operator. You will be responsible for the secure and quality-conscious handling of merchandise throughout our receiving and storage processes.
What You'll Do
- Receive merchandise, verifying it meets established quality standards.
- Supervise storage areas to verify proper arrangements and prevent damage from poor stacking.
- Maintain control of rejected items and communicate status to suppliers.
- Review product quality upon both receipt and delivery to protect inventory.
- Complete quality, rejection, and intake reports to track performance indices with suppliers.
- Supervise quality standards in merchandise purchases to help avoid rejections.
- Move and arrange merchandise using a forklift for correct stacking according to layout plans.
What We're Looking For
- A high school diploma or bachelor's degree.
- 1 year of experience in a similar forklift operator or warehouse role.
- Practical knowledge of quality control procedures.
- Knowledge of productivity improvement methods.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
Benefits & Compensation
- Monthly salary: $11,495.04
