Allegheny Health Network is looking for a Food Service Associate / SEIU - D (FT) to join our team. You will prepare and serve meals to patients, employees, visitors, and catering customers, while maintaining the sanitation of equipment and work areas.
What You'll Do
- Utilize proper food handling, portioning, and storage techniques according to departmental standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain, assemble, and stock adequate levels of food items, products, and supplies.
- Perform cleaning functions in assigned areas following established schedules, prescribed methods, and appropriate chemicals.
- Comply with all safety and infection control guidelines.
- Interact with and serve patients, visitors, and employees to ensure continuity of service.
- Perform all other assigned duties, including cashier and/or catering functions and cart transport.
Nice to Have
- Experience in food services is preferred.
