Coherent Solutions is hiring a Flutter Developer (Hospitality Industry)

Responsibilities

  • Design and sustain mobile features for both Android and iOS platforms using Flutter
  • Enhance navigation structures, routing mechanisms, screen transitions, and deep linking capabilities
  • Develop native bridges to access device-specific functionalities and APIs
  • Translate and optimize web-based features for mobile environments when necessary
  • Produce clear, sustainable, and high-performance code
  • Maintain application responsiveness, stability, and overall quality
  • Implement automated testing to ensure feature reliability
  • Work closely with product, design, web, and mobile teams to align development with project goals
  • Assist in evaluating and prioritizing issues reported by support staff
  • Track and investigate live application issues, supporting timely resolutions
  • Keep current with advancements in mobile development and propose practical improvements

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of professional experience in Flutter development
  • Solid expertise in Dart and the Flutter framework
  • Hands-on experience with state management solutions such as Provider or Bloc
  • Proven background in Flutter navigation, routing, page transitions, and deep linking
  • Capability to build native bridges for platform-specific features
  • Experience writing asynchronous code and managing isolates
  • Knowledge of software architecture and design patterns
  • Background in writing unit, widget, or automation tests
  • Ability to grasp business requirements and make informed technical decisions
  • Strong attention to detail, commitment to code quality, and clear communication of technical choices
  • Willingness to thrive in a dynamic product environment and share knowledge across the team
  • Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency
  • Availability to overlap with the Boston team for at least four hours daily, ending by 12:00 PM UTC-5

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to Swift or Kotlin is considered beneficial

Team

This position requires tight coordination with the web development team to ensure consistent functionality and integration across platforms.

Other

Must be able to maintain a daily overlap of at least 4 hours with the Boston team, ending by 12:00 PM UTC-5
