Coperniq is looking for a Senior Android Engineer to take a lead role in the development and stability of the FlipaClip app. You will be responsible for implementing new features, resolving complex issues, and guiding project architecture and code quality.
What You'll Do
- Deliver high-quality code to FlipaClip customers.
- Develop new features in accordance with the product roadmap from start to finish.
- Exercise leadership in project architecture and code quality, following best practices.
- Resolve reported issues from customers, QA, and other team members.
- Maintain projects with the latest Android changes and SDK updates.
- Help implement unit testing for automated tests of key app features.
- Keep constant synchronization with the iOS team to maintain similar structures and architectures.
- Work closely with developers and designers.
- Manage time across competing demands to meet bi-weekly release deadlines.
- Communicate and share knowledge with team members.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional Android development experience.
- Excellent Java and Kotlin programming skills.
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle.
- Experience with Android MVVM architecture solutions.
- Experience using the various AndroidX and Jetpack libraries.
- Experience working with IAP, advertising, analytics, and modularized projects.
- Experience with Android media APIs for audio and video, and with animation and MotionLayout.
- Experience with crash reporting, application logging, and profiling/debugging tools in Android Studio.
- C++ language knowledge and experience working with NDK.
- Ability to reduce tech-debt with a clear plan for removal.
- Experience building Android applications connected to RESTful APIs.
- Experience with a version control system (GIT).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a team to define, design, implement, test, release, and support software.
- An advanced level of spoken English (B2 onwards).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, engineering, or other technical disciplines.
