Responsibilities
- Build complete software systems efficiently within an agile development cycle
- Design solutions that deliver meaningful impact beyond basic coding tasks
- Continuously learn and apply new tools and methods to enhance system performance
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to system architecture and design
- Assist clients in resolving complex problems using current technologies
- Ensure all solutions align with existing architecture, deployment environments, and future capabilities
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of software development experience using object-oriented programming languages such as Java and Kotlin
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with the Android Tactical Assault Kit (ATAK) software development kit
- Minimum of 2 years working with the Tactical Assault Kit (TAK) ecosystem
- Minimum of 2 years developing native Android applications
- Demonstrated experience profiling Android applications for UI, memory, and concurrency issues
- Experience managing on-device databases using SQLite
- Current Secret clearance is required
- Bachelor's degree in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) field
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Android distributions and software development kits
- Background in mobile technologies, including cellular and wireless communication systems
- Experience with WinTAK, TAK X, and TAK Server platforms

Compensation
The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). Salary is determined by location, education, skills, competencies, experience, and organizational requirements.
