P2P.org is hiring a Financial Assistant responsible for Tres to manage day-to-day accounting, month-end close, and ensure the accuracy and automation of crypto asset data within the Tres Finance platform. This role involves cross-functional collaboration to support our Treasury, Finance, and Product Management teams.

What You'll Do

• Perform day-to-day accounting and month-end close: record revenues and expenses in QuickBooks; process bank statements and reconcile balances; book accruals and manage prepaid expenses; maintain the fixed-asset register and depreciation; handle payroll accounting and related provisions.
• Support Treasury, Finance, and PM teams with accurate and timely crypto asset data.
• Work with the IBM PA team to ensure crypto-related revenue, cost, and balance data are reflected in management reporting.
• Maintain and administer the Tres Finance platform within the organization.
• Ensure the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of blockchain transaction data in Tres.
• Oversee mapping of transactions to the correct financial accounts based on established rules.
• Regularly reconcile balances between Tres, blockchain data, and QuickBooks.
• Develop and optimize automation rules within Tres for transaction categorization and reporting.
• Maintain and enhance integrations between Tres and QuickBooks, Fireblocks, IBM Planning Analytics, and any future ERP system.
• Coordinate with internal IT and vendors to ensure smooth data flows.
• Collaborate with Treasury, Finance, Product Management, and other teams to fully understand and document all crypto token flows.
• Act as the primary point of contact with Tres Finance for troubleshooting, enhancements, and new feature requests.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
• Implement controls to ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in financial operations, accounting, or crypto finance.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with financial systems (QuickBooks, ERP, IBM PA) and willingness to master new platforms.
• Basic understanding of blockchain technology, tokenomics, and DeFi concepts.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional coordination.

Nice to Have

• Experience with blockchain transactions and crypto asset management is a strong plus.
