LAM Lennar Associates Mgmt LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy of processed expenses and deliver precise financial analysis and reporting to various stakeholders. You will support team members with accounting analysis and reporting to leadership and the Corporate Accounting teams.
What You'll Do
- Analyze incoming invoices to align charges with purchase orders, applying correct cost assignments and general ledger codes.
- Provide financial insights and documentation to stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate with leadership to approve invoices, proactively resolving discrepancies.
- Identify anomalies on invoices and investigate charges that do not align with purchase documents.
- Support Vendor Management and Treasury teams in ensuring proper vendor credentials.
- Handle confidential vendor and associate information with discretion.
- Oversee the monthly chargeback allocation process for telecom and other costs.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of capital assets and depreciation schedules, identifying trends.
- Prepare and execute monthly data loads to the financial dashboard, ensuring data integrity.
- Maintain and update the allocation database, identifying automation opportunities.
- Develop and upload journal entries for reclassifications and accruals.
- Identify gaps or redundancies in processes and initiate improvements.
- Drive financial projects and initiatives as assigned by the Finance Manager.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 2+ years of relevant accounting experience or equivalent education.
- Financial data analytical skills and experience preparing high-level reports from raw data.
- Intermediate Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
- PC proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ERP Systems.
- General knowledge of AP and AR functions.
- Ability to multitask, excellent communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong project management skills and a passion for solving business problems with technology.
- Demonstrated ability to meet multiple deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with all levels of management.
- A collaborator who can also work independently to make decisions when needed.
- An innovative, creative, and detail-oriented approach to work.
