Partly is hiring a Financial Accountant to support the Director of Finance in our high-growth startup environment. Our mission is to connect the world's parts by building the first global platform for replacement parts, starting with auto parts.

What You'll Do

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping to ensure accounts are accurate and up to date.
• Take ownership of accounts payable, processing supplier bills in Xero, allocating to correct accounts, and reconciling payments.
• Support accounts receivable by preparing invoices for review in Stripe, reconciling invoices to payments in Xero, and preparing revenue recognition.
• Support Entity Accounting by helping reconcile and prepare monthly accounts for multiple subsidiaries.
• Prepare analysis for the Monthly Finance Review (MFR), producing supporting analysis and tracking KPIs.
• Contribute to building an efficient and technologically-savvy finance department in APAC.

What We're Looking For

• Qualified or partially qualified accountant (e.g., Accounting degree, CIMA, CPA, CFA, ICAEW) OR a degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of practical experience and strong accounting knowledge.
• Excellent G Suite skills (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A desire to automate and make processes more efficient.

Nice to Have

• Experience using Xero is strongly preferred.
• Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Powerpoint, Word) a plus.

Team & Environment

This is the second finance hire, joining a team that has more than tripled in the last 12 months. You will report directly to the Director of Finance.
