Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all accounting operations and financial systems.
- Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
- Coordinate and lead the annual audit process and tax filings.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Manage and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Collaborate with department heads to prepare and manage budgets, and monitor variances.
- Support strategic decision-making by providing financial insights and analysis.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.
- Implement and maintain financial policies and procedures.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
- Prepare and review financial projections and cash flow statements.
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Coordinate with external consultants and service providers as needed.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data and records.
- Support the development and implementation of financial strategies.
- Manage the financial aspects of projects and initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external financial reporting standards.
Nice to Have
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
