Hilton is looking for a Finance Executive - Payable to join our team. This role is central to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our hotel’s financial operations. You will be responsible for the audit, processing, and timely payment of all hotel expenditures, while also preparing cost analyses and payment forecasts to support the finance function.
What You'll Do
- Account for and audit all purchase orders, receiving records, supplier invoices, credit notes, and outgoing shipments.
- Review and process all payments, including payroll, via cheque, bank transfer, or other means for Director of Finance approval.
- Ensure all payment invoices have complete supporting documentation and prior approval from relevant Department Heads.
- Post all transaction vouchers, stamp them “POSTED,” and maintain comprehensive voucher lists.
- Reconcile supplier monthly statements to the hotel’s accounts payable records.
- Follow up with suppliers regarding missing invoices or credit notes.
- Record and prepare invoices for payment, ensuring correct general ledger and cost centre codes are used.
- Secure the best available rates for foreign currency payments.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the accounts payable ledger.
- Safeguard signed cheques in the Financial Controller’s safe and maintain a proper log.
- Process and apply hotel tax on time to meet submission deadlines.
- Ensure cheques and payment instruments are used in numerical order.
- Protect passwords and codes for payment mechanisms from unauthorized disclosure.
- Treat all bank account details and balance information as confidential.
- Maintain an adequate and up-to-date filing system.
- Handle requests and enquiries in a timely, efficient, and friendly manner.
- Minimize accident risks and workers compensation costs by ensuring safe work practices.
- Prepare trade accruals at month end.
- Liaise with the bank and Foreign Exchange Control Bureau for all foreign exchange transactions, obtaining necessary approvals and documentation.
- Perform any additional assigned tasks to ensure smooth hotel operations.
What We're Looking For
- University degree or above, majoring in Finance or Accounting.
- 4-6 years of relevant accounts payable or finance experience.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Good communication abilities.
- Flexibility with working hours, especially during month-end closing.
- Proficiency in English and Chinese to meet business needs.
- System skills in Check SCM and SUN.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel.

Team & Environment
