bonify is looking for a Finance Associate / Manager (m/w/d) to join our team in Berlin. This role is central to our finance operations, responsible for controlling, reporting, and key operational tasks as we work to revolutionize the FinTech industry and make credit scores and financial data transparent.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain a KPI dashboard in collaboration with key stakeholders
- Develop KPI models, validate data, and establish a structured reporting framework
- Build and maintain forecasting models to support planning and decision-making
- Implement and manage tools to streamline spend tracking and approval workflows
- Build and manage budgets and cost structures, aligned with departmental ownership
- Review and approve incoming invoices and cross-check with contracts and budgets
- Assist in preparing monthly and annual financial statements (HGB)
- Monitor budgets, perform cost controlling and variance analysis
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- > 5 years of experience in a finance role
- Native German skills and C2 English proficiency
- A structured, self-motivated team player
- Eagerness to build processes and systems from the ground up
- A curious and non-judgmental approach
Nice to Have
- Experience in startups, tech, or FinTech environments
- Familiarity with SaaS metrics and modern reporting tools
- Experience with tools for data extraction, transformation, or visualization
