The Field Service Technician will work across Central Scotland, delivering, installing, and maintaining industrial cleaning equipment for customers. The role combines technical service engineering with product demonstrations and staff training, operating Monday to Friday within office hours without weekend work, as part of Nilfisk's commitment to innovation, sustainability, and exceptional customer support.
What You'll Do
- Follow all workplace procedures correctly, including Health and Safety rules and technician procedures
- Capture correct client data and make updates to jobs in real-time
- Provide accurate and detailed reports on every site visit
- Order parts via the central database and maintain van stock levels
- Uphold the condition of the company vehicle to an extremely high standard
- Liaise with sales colleagues to deliver equipment to customer sites
- Maintain demonstration machines after use
- Speak clearly and confidently to groups of people when installing and training on equipment
- Complete all repairs within contracted service level agreements
- Make follow-up calls to install additional parts
- Perform Portable Appliance Tests (PAT)
- Carry out scheduled planned maintenance services

Compensation includes a salary starting from £32K depending on experience, plus a bonus/commission structure.
Work Mode
This role is based locally in the West of Scotland and Central Scotland, with no remote work option.
