INNIO is hiring a Field Service Technician to provide hands-on field service for our Jenbacher Gas Engines, which range from 0.25 to 9.5 MW and run on natural gas or other gases. You will be responsible for commissioning, maintenance, and repair, ensuring the reliable operation of our power generation technology.
What You'll Do
- Execute service on engines in compliance with maintenance protocols, including oil management, filter and valve replacements, and various measurements.
- Carry out minor repairs in addition to planned maintenance.
- Perform major engine service collaboratively, following the established major service protocol.
- Complete full rebuilds of in-frames, including engine, gearbox, and generator components.
- Monitor maintenance activities to ensure full compliance with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) protocols.
- Analyze engine failures by reviewing historical data across mechanical, electronic, and software systems.
- Troubleshoot electronic and mechanical issues with engines on-site.
- Prepare detailed site visit reports covering the visit purpose, symptoms, actions taken, parts used, hours spent, results, and follow-up requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team of technicians.
- Process timesheets, expense reports, EHS forms, and job reports promptly.
- Comply with all EHS policies and procedures to ensure a safe, productive worksite.
- Perform other assigned duties to support successful operations and business continuity with customers and third parties.
