Solventum is hiring a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and support medical equipment critical to healthcare and life science environments. You will ensure the operational readiness of our technology while providing expert service and training directly to customers.
What You'll Do
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate Solventum Steri-vac™ Sterilizers and abators in hospital and industrial environments.
- Perform scheduled Preventative Maintenance (PMs) to ensure equipment reliability.
- Consult with and provide In-Service training for customer staff.
- Renew service agreements, obtain purchase orders for chargeable visits, and schedule customer appointments.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or another technical field plus three (3) years of troubleshooting and repairing medical or industrial equipment.
- OR a High school diploma, equivalent, or higher plus seven (7) years of troubleshooting and repairing medical or industrial equipment.
- A current and valid driver’s license.
- Ability to push and pull a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Legal authorization to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for a work visa.

- Strong troubleshooting skills, excellent time and territory management, and effective written and verbal communication.
- A strong desire for continuous learning and the ability to work independently and stay self-motivated.

Work Mode
This is a remote position requiring travel to customer sites. You must be located in and able to service customers in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, or Illinois.
