SCIEX, a Danaher company, is hiring a Field Service Engineer, Food & Beverage to provide critical support for Pall Corporation's equipment at customer sites. In this remote role, you will ensure the performance of systems within the beer, wine, and spirits industry through direct service, troubleshooting, and fostering customer relationships.
What You'll Do
- Provide service and support for Pall’s customer base across local, regional, national, and Canadian markets.
- Support troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and calibration of Pall Corporation equipment at customer sites.
- Service and test systems hardware, including mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation components.
- Troubleshoot, upgrade, and update PLC and HMI software independently.
- Issue service reports and commissioning reports.
- Drive sales growth, service growth, and customer fulfillment.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical or Engineering field, military equivalent (E-6 or greater), OR a High School diploma/GED plus 3+ years of relevant field service experience.
- Hands-on experience with Automation/PLC instruments, including adjustments and uploading new PLC software.
- Must be located near a major metropolitan airport in the CDT or EDT time zone.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to travel up to 85% (flying/driving), including significant overnight stays, primarily domestic.
- Ability to regularly lift, move, slide, raise, and/or place up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, sit, squat, kneel, ascend/descend stairs, and reach.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience with systems integrating mechanical, electrical, and instrument components like valves, pumps, transmitters, and actuators.
- SAP experience.
