About the Role

The engineer will handle on-site service tasks, troubleshoot equipment issues, and ensure systems operate to specification, working closely with clients and internal teams to deliver reliable technical support.

Responsibilities

  • Install and configure hardware and software systems at customer locations
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on field equipment
  • Diagnose and resolve technical malfunctions promptly
  • Document service activities and outcomes accurately
  • Respond to emergency service calls as needed
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  • Coordinate with internal teams for parts and support
  • Train clients on proper system usage and basic troubleshooting
  • Maintain inventory of tools and spare parts
  • Follow up with customers post-service to confirm satisfaction
  • Adhere to service level agreements and response time targets
  • Escalate complex technical issues to engineering teams
  • Update customer records and service logs
  • Support remote diagnostics when possible
  • Work independently in the field with minimal supervision
  • Communicate technical details clearly to non-technical users
  • Ensure equipment calibration meets manufacturer standards
  • Participate in on-call rotation schedules
  • Follow company protocols for data security and confidentiality
  • Report field trends and recurring issues to management
  • Assist in improving service processes and documentation
  • Attend required safety and technical training sessions
  • Use diagnostic tools and software to assess system performance
  • Manage time efficiently across multiple job sites
  • Maintain professional conduct during client interactions
