About the Role

What You'll Do

Lead and coordinate teams during the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, and related rotating equipment at customer locations. Supervise field service personnel, contractors, and client staff, ensuring all procedures follow technical and safety standards.

Diagnose performance issues and direct corrective actions, ensuring equipment operates efficiently and reliably. Maintain clear, consistent communication with customers, providing updates on progress, performance, and any emerging concerns.

Collaborate with sales teams to support customer needs for spare parts, retrofits, service agreements, and new equipment. Deliver detailed service reports to both management and clients, summarizing work performed, findings, and recommendations.

Support continuous improvement by proposing practical solutions to enhance service delivery and customer outcomes.

Requirements

  • Hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering or have completed a mechanical apprenticeship with substantial field experience in turbomachinery.
  • Demonstrate hands-on experience in the overhaul, repair, and commissioning of centrifugal compressors and steam turbines.
  • Possess proven supervisory skills with direct field leadership experience.
  • Have a history of writing thorough, accurate service documentation.
  • Be prepared to travel internationally for over 200 days per year across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Russia.
  • Show a strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards in all work environments.
  • Be proficient in using MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and MS Project.
  • Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with steam turbines from Dresser Rand, MAN, GE, or Siemens is advantageous.

Work Mode

This role is based locally in Saudi Arabia with a remote working arrangement. Frequent travel to customer sites is required as part of the position’s responsibilities.
