GE HealthCare is hiring a Field Service Engineer 2 (Imaging) to support our hospital and healthcare system customers in the Jacksonville, FL area. This 2nd shift role is central to ensuring medical imaging equipment is operational, reliable, and compliant, directly impacting patient care.
What You'll Do
- Perform timely and accurate preventative maintenance, installations, and troubleshooting on medical imaging equipment.
- Build and maintain customer relationships through clear communication and prompt resolution of issues.
- Adhere to company policies, hospital protocols, and all regulatory compliance requirements.
- Ensure complete and accurate documentation of all work performed, including parts ordering.
What We're Looking For
- An Associate's degree, Bachelor’s degree, or military education plus a minimum of 3 years servicing electrical equipment; OR a High School Diploma/GED plus a minimum of 6 years of related experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience specifically servicing Imaging equipment.
- A valid Driver's License.
- Ability to be available after-hours and work a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs unassisted and perform frequent physical tasks including bending, stooping, twisting, climbing, crouching, kneeling, crawling, and standing or sitting for long periods.
