JOB OVERVIEW: This role is tasked with overseeing all business-to-business sales operations within an assigned geographic area. The position demands consistent consultative engagement with every client to enhance merchandise, equipment, and service sales among existing customers while intensely focusing on acquiring new clients and communicating the organization's core value proposition. The incumbent is expected to cultivate robust business partnerships centered on addressing customer requirements related to operational practices, product offerings, technological solutions, and support services. **This position covers a territory that includes Southwestern Pennsylvania to Northern West Virginia** KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Responsible for achieving quarterly and annual sales gross profit objectives by actively implementing and executing strategic sales initiatives and programs. - Coordinate sales activities across the territory through comprehensive team selling approaches tailored to address complex industry and customer needs. - Develop, manage, and expand merchandise, equipment, and service sales within a specified geographic region through direct, consultative customer interactions and regular business performance reviews. - Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities via cold calling, professional networking, and strategic social media engagement. - Strategically plan, organize, and implement comprehensive sales strategies utilizing company resources, technological tools, and market expansion initiatives across multiple product lines. - Participate in all prescribed sales meetings, industry conferences, professional seminars, internal training programs, and relevant events to enhance customer relationships and promote event-driven selling. SPECIFIC SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE: - Professional selling techniques - Superior verbal and written communication capabilities - Advanced computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office suite - Meticulous attention to detail - Robust project management competencies MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2 years of prior sales experience preferred PREFERRED EDUCATION: Typically, a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification in a related discipline GENERAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: - Goal-driven with exceptional time management abilities - Strong client prospecting and account management skills - Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively - Passionate about sales performance and continuous improvement - Comprehensive understanding of industry dynamics - Exceptional presentation and public speaking capabilities - Superior interpersonal communication skills - Advanced conflict resolution capabilities - Ability to establish partnerships across organizational levels - Sophisticated negotiation skills - Proficiency in resolving complex challenges - Strategic project management and consultative approach TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Position requires extensive travel within assigned geographic territory.
