The selected candidate will lead field-based programs, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure project deliverables align with client requirements and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead program execution across multiple operational sites
- Coordinate with government stakeholders to define project goals
- Ensure compliance with federal security protocols
- Manage project timelines and resource allocation
- Oversee field team performance and readiness
- Develop status reports for senior leadership
- Track deliverables against contractual obligations
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and clients
- Identify and mitigate project risks
- Maintain accurate documentation for audits
- Support contract modifications and change requests
- Ensure adherence to safety and security policies
- Conduct on-site evaluations and site readiness checks
- Coordinate logistics for field deployments
- Serve as primary point of contact during field operations
- Monitor budget utilization and report variances
- Implement corrective actions for performance gaps
- Lead post-mission reviews and lessons learned sessions
- Ensure all team members maintain required clearances
- Uphold data handling and classification standards
- Manage vendor coordination for field support
- Support emergency response procedures when needed
- Maintain situational awareness during operations
- Escalate critical issues to executive leadership
- Ensure alignment with program strategic objectives
Nice to Have
- Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance
- Master's degree in project management or related area
- PMP or other project management certification
- Experience with classified program environments
- Prior military or defense sector experience
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks
- Experience with joint interagency operations
