Serve Robotics is hiring a Field Operations Supervisor

About the Role

This role is responsible for managing on-the-ground operations of autonomous robots, coordinating maintenance, monitoring performance, and leading local field teams to maintain service reliability and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily field operations of autonomous delivery units
  • Monitor robot performance and respond to operational alerts
  • Coordinate maintenance and troubleshooting efforts
  • Lead local field technicians and support staff
  • Ensure compliance with safety and operational protocols
  • Track and report on service metrics and uptime
  • Respond to incidents involving robots in public spaces
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on field feedback
  • Manage inventory of robot components and spare parts
  • Conduct routine field inspections and site assessments
  • Optimize deployment schedules based on demand patterns
  • Train new team members on operational procedures
  • Maintain accurate logs of robot status and incidents
  • Support software update rollouts in the field
  • Communicate with local partners and delivery personnel
  • Escalate technical issues to central support teams
  • Ensure robots operate within designated service zones
  • Implement process improvements for field efficiency
  • Oversee battery management and charging logistics
  • Respond to community inquiries about robot activity
  • Enforce data privacy and security standards in field operations
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support
  • Prepare operational reports for management review
  • Support expansion into new service areas
  • Ensure adherence to local regulations and permitting
