Tecmilenio is hiring a full-time Faculty member to develop interdisciplinary research and technology-based entrepreneurship in Supply Chain and Logistics Systems. You will join the Institute for Advanced Materials for Sustainable Manufacturing, focusing on applied research with strong industry engagement.
What You'll Do
- Develop a high-impact applied research program in Supply Chain and Logistics Systems.
- Collaborate with manufacturing firms, logistics providers, and retailers.
- Lead research addressing real-world supply chain challenges.
- Mentor graduate students working on applied supply chain projects.
- Publish research while prioritizing operational impact and technology adoption.
- Establish long-term partnerships with companies and industrial organizations.
- Participate in the Institute’s corporate membership and collaboration programs.
- Lead industry workshops, executive roundtables, and collaborative innovation initiatives.
- Contribute to executive education and professional training programs focused on supply chain transformation.
What We're Looking For
- A Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Transportation, or a related discipline.
- Experience working on supply chain or logistics systems with practical applications.
- Proven experience collaborating with industry partners or government organizations.
- Ability to secure research funding and develop strategic industry partnerships.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English at a minimum B2 level.
Nice to Have
- Spanish language skills.
