THE OPPORTUNITY The Facilities Specialist ensures restaurant functionality through comprehensive preventative maintenance strategies. WHAT YOU'LL DO Beyond adhering to Chipotle's established protocols, key responsibilities include: - Supporting the Facilities Manager by overseeing market-level restaurant facility management - Conducting facility maintenance through systematic monthly site evaluations and comprehensive restaurant analyses - Developing preventative maintenance protocols ensuring safe, efficient restaurant operations across equipment, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and refrigeration - Implementing emergency response procedures for facility malfunctions or potential safety risks - Delivering targeted training to managers and staff on facility management, troubleshooting, and repair techniques - Verifying consistent implementation of maintenance practices across restaurant teams - Organizing detailed facility maintenance workshops and individual training sessions - Generating comprehensive maintenance visit reports highlighting operational strengths and improvement opportunities - Identifying cost-impacting facility issues and communicating findings to relevant management teams - Guiding restaurants in maintaining accurate facility documentation - Performing emergency and scheduled equipment and building repairs - Managing new store turnover processes and collaborative walkthroughs - Serving as intermediary between restaurants, landlords, contractors, and service providers - Supporting operations teams in evaluating and escalating facility concerns - Representing facilities management in operational meetings - Providing field support for departmental initiatives - Communicating contractor performance issues - Adhering to departmental guidelines - Executing additional project-specific responsibilities WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE - Advanced trade knowledge in carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, commercial equipment, and HVAC - Comprehensive understanding of facility safety regulations - Exceptional schedule management and project coordination skills - Strong communication and training capabilities - Clean driving record - Compliance with driving safety requirements - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with minimum two years formal facility maintenance training PAY TRANSPARENCY Base pay range: $23.07–$29.57, with potential annual bonuses and performance-based equity awards.
