Stepful is seeking an Externship Placement Coordinator to ensure our healthcare students successfully transition into their clinical experiences. In this role, you will manage the placement process end-to-end, facilitating the connection between students and healthcare sites.
What You'll Do
- Manage externship placements by confirming site assignments, scheduling interviews (if required), and setting student start dates.
- Ensure student compliance with onboarding requirements, including background checks, drug screens, and vaccinations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for students and externship sites, providing updates and addressing concerns.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with externship sites by understanding their capacity, preferences, and onboarding processes.
- Maintain accurate records in internal dashboards, tracking student progress and site availability.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience working in a higher education institution coordinating externships, or account management experience in the healthcare industry.
- You are self-motivated and able to learn quickly and independently.
- You have strong communication skills and high attention to detail.
- A reliable computer that can handle multi-tasking among many online tools and video-conferencing software.
- High-speed internet.
- A quiet, professional workspace.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Front and/or Google Suite.
- Medical Assistant experience.
