Vodafone is looking for an Experte Anbindungsplanung Mobile & MESN to join our Team Transport Network Planning in Region East. In this role, you will plan and project major network expansion measures in the transport network (MESN, IP, O&M, and Mobile Edge) as the foundation for the mobile access network and large customer projects.
What You'll Do
- Plan and project major network expansion measures in the transport network (MESN, IP, O&M, and Mobile Edge (SecGW, RNC, BSC)) independently and on your own responsibility.
- Develop expansion strategies and planning concepts for the mobile communications access network and steer employees in other transport groups during implementation.
- Steer measures within modernization projects in the transport network and create market studies, requirement analyses, feasibility studies, and business cases.
- Plan measures in the transport network with regard to E2E performance, costs (CAPEX, OPEX), and quality in close coordination with other planning groups.
- Create and review requirements for processes, planning and documentation tools, as well as review planning specifications for the transport network.
What We're Looking For
- A completed technical or scientific degree or similar qualification with several years of relevant professional experience.
- Good knowledge of the transport network and its technologies, with detailed knowledge of several technologies used within it.
- Good knowledge of network infrastructure, including both fixed-line and mobile networks.
- Several years of experience in dealing with planning tools.
- Strong presentation, representation, and negotiation skills.
- Analytical, conceptual, and organizational skills with the ability to apply theoretical knowledge beneficially in concrete cases.
- Negotiation-level German and good English skills in spoken and written form.
