PG&E seeks an Expert Risk Analyst to work closely with asset family owners, compliance teams, and SMEs to evaluate and implement a robust risk management framework. The analyst will support horizon scanning for new risks, facilitate conversations to improve key risk indicators (KRIs), and provide quantitative analysis to support risk-based decision-making.
What You'll Do
- Develop strong relationships with asset strategy, engineering, wildfire, regulatory, and compliance teams.
- Work closely with asset family owners and compliance teams to evaluate new and emerging risks.
- Facilitate conversations with SMEs and Risk Teams to enhance or develop new KRIs.
- Assist in data collection efforts for risk analysis initiatives.
- Leverage relationships and support the development of risk presentations for different audiences.
- Support GRC and regulatory data requests and BPD deliverables.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Seven years of experience in risk management, utility operations, and/or a related field.
Nice to Have
- 2+ years’ experience in electric operations, asset management and strategy.
Team & Environment
This role is part of the Electric Risk Management (ERM) team within the Electric Engineering business unit.
Benefits & Compensation
- Bay Area: $122,000.00 - $194,000.00
- California: $116,000.00 - $184,000.00
Work Mode
This is a hybrid position open to candidates in numerous locations across California, including but not limited to Oakland, San Francisco, San Jose, Sacramento, Fresno, Los Angeles area, and many others.
