Responsibilities
- Gather, examine, and evaluate documents such as medical, financial, tax, employment, and other pertinent records
- Develop detailed timelines of medical and factual events
- Support trial preparation by organizing trial notebooks, exhibits, and witness materials
- Collect and assemble evidence through review of records, discovery materials, transcripts, and research databases
- Maintain and organize case files and documentation
- Liaise with support staff, clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Produce case status updates, logs, and document indexes
- Communicate with clients and external legal teams in writing
- Conduct legal and medical research on case-related facts, including review of medical and expert literature
- Coordinate with expert witnesses, assess qualifications, and analyze prior testimony, transcripts, and publications
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned
