Join the Hyatt Regency Lake Washington as a seasonal Expediter at our outdoor Dock & Drink venue. You will be the critical link between the food truck cooks and the service team, ensuring all food orders are complete and delivered to guests promptly. This is a seasonal role from April 2026 through October 2026 that involves working outside in varying weather conditions.
What You'll Do
- Monitor wait times for food tickets as they arrive to the kitchen.
- Work with the front-of-house restaurant team on appropriate menu explanations, ingredients, and allergy information.
- Understand menu ingredients to control production and maintain consistency and freshness.
- Assist in food deliveries if necessary.
- Perform other tasks assigned by Supervisor/Manager(s).
What We're Looking For
- Must be able to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Must possess a valid food handlers’ permit.
- Refined verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of culinary and restaurant operations.
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Flexible availability, with weekends and holidays required.
Nice to Have
- Related hotel experience is preferred.
