EY is hiring an Executive Director–Global Treasury & Commodities Leader to join our Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team. You will drive growth, manage delivery teams, and provide subject matter expertise in the treasury and commodities domain to support our global market clients.
What You'll Do
- Build and develop client relationships with our regional stakeholders.
- Manage a portfolio of clients, lead client proposals, and be involved in large treasury client deliveries.
- Ensure the timeliness and quality of work per EY Global Standards.
- Provide strategic recommendations to senior management on utilizing new technologies, automation, and digitization to drive innovation and transform the finance function.
- Identify key areas of improvement within the treasury function and lead initiatives to streamline processes, optimize systems, and enhance overall performance.
- Evaluate and assess vendor solutions, conducting vendor evaluations and recommending suitable options for treasury system implementation.
- Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption and integration of new processes, technologies, and ways of working.
- Develop robust performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and track the treasury function's progress.
What We're Looking For
- Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA (US), ACCA (UK), or MBA with 18+ years of relevant experience.
- Deep knowledge of the finance and treasury domain and a large professional network in this field.
- Experience handling treasury operations and system implementations, including work in or with offshore environments and building niche teams/Centers of Excellence.
- Direct experience with Treasury system implementation and treasury operations projects.
- Knowledge of SAP Treasury, treasury analytics, and cash flow forecasting.
- Experience in designing treasury transformation and operating models, cash and liquidity process design, and treasury technology digital strategy.
- Experience implementing and streamlining cash and liquidity management procedures.
- Proven ability in current state analysis, future state analysis, gap assessment, process optimization, data optimization, analytics, and data management for treasury operations.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, training, and mentoring skills.
- Ability to manage a team and establish credibility as a trusted advisor with clients.
- Strong executive presence and ability to interface with all levels of management (EY and clients).
- Strong project management and organizational experience.
- Fluent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Willingness to work in a global environment where regular travel to client sites is required.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Knowledge of the latest technology landscape, trends, and solutions.
- Process optimization experience in areas like Treasury Operations, Liquidity and Cash Positioning, and treasury transaction structuring.
