AtkinsRéalis is looking for an Estimator to lead cost estimation and procurement support for large-scale infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. You'll be responsible for preparing cost plans, managing Bills of Quantities, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
What You'll Do
- Lead the preparation of pre-contract cost estimates, cost plans, and benchmarking for large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Develop and manage Bills of Quantities (BoQs) and pre-tender estimates using CESSM and other industry standards.
- Support the development of procurement strategies, including packaging, tendering, and contract formation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment between design intent and cost objectives.
- Prepare and review tender documentation, including pricing schedules and contract conditions.
- Conduct market analysis and engage with supply chain to inform cost data and procurement planning.
- Assist in risk and value management and cost control functions.
- Assist in identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks.
- Attendance and representation at commercial meetings.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Middle East.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills.
- Strong background in pre-contract quantity surveying for infrastructure and civil engineering projects including masterplanning.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
