ESPN is looking for a Social Production Intern to join our ESPN NEXT program for Fall 2025. This fully remote role provides real-world experience producing content for social platforms while learning about different areas of the business. ESPN NEXT serves as the entry point for aspiring storytellers at ESPN, focusing on career growth and platform fluency.

What You'll Do

Produce studio show content for social platforms to drive engagement
Analyze the performance of social content and incorporate those insights into future content decisions
Pitch ideas to social teams and studio shows

What We're Looking For

Knowledge of multiple sports, especially those heavily covered by ESPN
Awareness of media trends across social, digital, and linear platforms
Familiarity with ESPN’s content across multiple platforms
Ability to research topics and pitch creative ideas
Capability to react quickly and positively under pressure
Enrollment in an accredited college/university taking at least one class at the time of application, OR current participation in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization
Able to maintain a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
Full availability from September 22nd through December 12, 2025, working 40 hours each week

Nice to Have

Current academic standing as a Junior or Senior
A major or previous coursework in Journalism, Broadcast, Sports Media, or a related field
Experience in sports media, particularly in content creation
Passion for creative storytelling
Experience editing content with Adobe Premiere and Photoshop
Ability to communicate clearly with leaders of the social production team
