First American is hiring a Remote Escrow Assistant to support our Escrow department with administrative and customer service duties. In this role, you will primarily focus on residential refinance and equity transactions, ensuring smooth escrow closings from start to finish.
What You'll Do
- Provide a wide range of administrative support to gather information and assist in the escrow process.
- Open orders, input CD and closing statement information, and prepare all required documents for closing.
- Schedule notary signings and follow up on all escrow transactions to ensure timely completion.
- Interpret various title documents as they relate to closing and communicate requirements clearly to clients.
- Follow established processes and procedures, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years in the title industry.
- 2+ years of direct escrow-related experience.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficient with the MS Office suite and company/client operating systems.
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and a positive service attitude at all times.
Nice to Have
- An Associate's Degree is preferred.

- Compensation: $20.34 - $27.12 per hour.
