Henry Schein One LLC is hiring an Equipment Service Technician - LI & 5 Boroughs

Henry Schein One LLC is looking for an Equipment Service Technician to provide repair and installation services for dental practitioners across Long Island and the five boroughs of New York City. You will be responsible for driving service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes retention, and increases profitability, all while working under the direction of a Lead Technician or Project Coordinator.

What You'll Do

• Provide courteous and professional repair services directly at customer offices.
• Perform basic installation services as needed.
• Diagnose technical problems through proper troubleshooting steps and determine effective solutions.
• Complete on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing tasks under supervision.
• Comprehend customer requirements and make recommendations to optimize their experience.
• Produce timely and detailed service reports.
• Maintain and manage proper inventory levels in your service vehicle.
• Communicate progress regularly to team members and dispatchers.
• Complete and review all work orders with customers in a timely manner.
• Submit all required job-related paperwork, including FDA forms and expense reports, within deadlines.
• Attend all mandatory training, including career development and manufacturer technical sessions.
• Comply with all OSHA regulations and fleet management policies.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of field service experience with demonstrated proficiency.
• A basic mechanical background and customer service experience.
• Basic troubleshooting and computer skills.
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• An independent self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• A professional demeanor with a focus on accuracy and detail.

Nice to Have

• An Associate's degree or Technical School Certification.

Team & Environment

You will work under the direction of a Lead Technician or Project Coordinator, collaborating with a team to ensure high-quality service delivery.
