About the Role
Identify and close new business opportunities within enterprise organizations across the Ohio Valley by leveraging deep technical understanding and strong sales execution.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and engage with large organizations to uncover security platform requirements
- Lead full sales cycles from initial contact to contract negotiation and close
- Develop and maintain relationships with C-level and technical stakeholders
- Collaborate with pre-sales engineering to deliver product demonstrations and proof of concepts
- Forecast revenue accurately and maintain up-to-date pipeline data
- Understand customer infrastructure and security challenges to position solutions effectively
- Work cross-functionally with marketing to refine messaging for enterprise audiences
- Represent the company at industry events and customer meetings
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with procurement teams
- Stay informed about regional market trends and competitive landscape
- Drive expansion within existing accounts through upsell and cross-sell initiatives
- Coordinate with customer success teams to ensure smooth onboarding
- Maintain CRM records with detailed activity and next steps
- Meet or exceed quarterly sales targets
- Advocate for customer needs internally to influence product direction
Nice to Have
- Prior success selling application security, API security, or cloud-native security tools
- Existing network of enterprise contacts in the Ohio Valley
- Knowledge of Salt Lake City tech ecosystem
- Experience with technical sales engineering teams
- Background in software development or systems administration
