Seagate is seeking an Engineering Specialist II for our HGA Test Engineering (HTE) team. You will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the electrical testing equipment that is vital for our manufacturing operations, ensuring dependable testing capabilities through routine maintenance and upgrades.
What You'll Do
- Set up and calibrate electronics systems by following schematics and diagrams.
- Fix equipment breakdowns by diagnosing problems and performing systematic troubleshooting, making necessary repairs or reworks.
- Generate the first level of equipment and Electrical Test data interpretation and analysis, reporting findings to concerned teams.
- Conduct service checks and perform routine Preventive Maintenance to keep electronic equipment such as ComET Testers, CSS Testers, and electronic workbenches functioning properly.
- Communicate with operators, engineers, and supervisors to understand problems and provide progress updates across internal and external functional departments.
- Give demonstrations on the safe use, operation, and maintenance of equipment.
