Bombardier is seeking an Engineering Professional to join a dynamic team of software developers, business process experts, and project managers. In this role, you will develop, implement, and maintain business intelligence and performance tracking tools for engineering processes.
What You'll Do
- Identify the most effective and clear ways to present information to aid decision-making.
- Develop consistent and sustainable data models that facilitate analysis.
- Harmonize existing performance tracking tools across all supported teams.
- Participate in developing a vision for the use of business intelligence tools within Engineering.
- Provide support and advice to colleagues using the Microsoft Power Platform.
- Show interest in contributing to the company's vision for artificial intelligence.
- Collaborate with other developers within the team and the company to optimize tools and share a common vision.
- Interact with the company's PLM and ERP systems.
What We're Looking For
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience with PowerBI, Tableau, or equivalent.
- Experience developing effective dashboards.
- Knowledge of database management, SQL queries, and data modeling.
- Attention to detail and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English, as well as the ability to train and/or guide others.
- Ability to work well in a team, with both developers and business analysts.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Power Platform tools.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical, planning, problem-solving, and business acumen skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with a high degree of autonomy.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with data warehouses and/or data lakes.
- Knowledge of the Python programming language.
