- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate merchant and operations needs into effective technical solutions
- Ensure strong security practices by championing authentication, authorization, and role-based access controls across all systems
- Enforce high standards of software quality through rigorous testing strategies—unit, integration, and end-to-end
- Work closely with Risk, Legal, Sales, and Operations teams to understand requirements and shape compliant, scalable implementations
- Partner with Legal to maintain systems for managing contractual documents and compliance artifacts
- Build and mentor a team of frontend and backend engineers, fostering ownership, technical excellence, and professional growth
- Conduct regular performance reviews and career development discussions while promoting a culture of continuous learning
- Develop and maintain clear technical and integration documentation for internal and external use
- Ensure architectural consistency across platforms to minimize fragmentation and technical debt
Technology Environment
You'll work with a modern stack: Python for backend services, React for frontend interfaces, Docker and Kubernetes for orchestration, GCP as the cloud platform, Postgres and Redis for data storage, PubSub for messaging, and Datadog for monitoring and observability.
