Presidio is looking for an Engineering Manager / Senior Manager to lead the design and delivery of modern, cloud-native applications across AWS, Azure, and GCP. In this hands-on leadership role within our Digital Practice, you will build high-performing global teams that drive technical excellence, delivery quality, and engineering consistency.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure, cloud-native applications on AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Ensure delivery quality through strong architecture, clear standards, and proactive risk management.
- Partner across AppDev, Data, and Cloud practices to maintain alignment on delivery models and technology direction.
- Balance hands-on technical leadership with effective delivery management to achieve business outcomes.
- Manage and coach a team of engineers and architects, fostering accountability, learning, and collaboration.
- Promote modern engineering practices including DevSecOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Encourage adoption of automation and AI-assisted tools to enhance productivity and speed.
- Lead the use of reusable solution accelerators and delivery frameworks that improve consistency and quality.
- Represent Presidio in client architecture discussions, workshops, and solution design sessions.
- Collaborate across delivery teams to strengthen governance, communication, and client satisfaction.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of software or product engineering experience, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or team lead role.
- Proven success delivering cloud-native or hybrid applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong technical foundation in Java, C#, Python, Node.js, React, or Angular.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, microservices, and serverless architectures.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Ansible.
- Understanding of automation and AI integration in modern engineering workflows.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business domains.
- Must be a US Citizen and ability to obtain government security clearance.
Nice to Have
- Experience in consulting or client-facing software delivery.
- Exposure to data engineering or end-to-end digital solution delivery.
- Certifications in AWS, Azure, GCP, Agile, or Product Ownership.
- Experience managing distributed or global engineering teams.
