About the Role

Lengow is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead and inspire a team of software engineers developing our Marketplace product. You will drive development, foster excellence, and ensure successful delivery of high-impact projects in a collaborative and innovative environment.

What You'll Do

  • Manage, mentor, and motivate a small team of 4 to 8 engineers to achieve their best performance.
  • Provide architectural and design leadership, ensuring technical excellence and scalability.
  • Code part of your time (20%) as a hands-on senior software engineer.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring they are on time and within scope.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, and QA, to define and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Identify hiring needs, participate in recruiting efforts, and foster a culture that attracts and retains top talent.
  • Implement and refine engineering processes, tools, and best practices to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions effectively to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Build the quarterly roadmap of the team in collaboration with your Team Product Manager.

Team & Environment

You will lead a small team of developers (from 4 to 8) that is part of the Marketplace Product Team, led by a Product Manager and an Engineering Manager. This team is integrated into a broader Engineering, Data, and Product organization comprising 70+ people. You will report directly to the VP Engineering and CTO.

Work Mode

This position is based in our offices in Nantes, Paris, or Barcelona.
