Apex Tool Group seeks an Engineering Co-Op for Summer 2026 at our York, PA manufacturing facility. This role offers a substantial hands-on learning experience with a focus on manufacturing engineering, requiring you to work directly on the production floor with heavy equipment.
What You'll Do
- Assist with daily engineering duties in a manufacturing environment.
- Learn and work with SAP Master Data for manufacturing support.
- Utilize Excel workbooks and Access databases for engineering tasks.
- Assist with updating process documentation and supporting lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Participate in Kaizen events.
- Create CMM programs and 3D printed fixtures.
What We're Looking For
- Current Sophomore or Junior enrolled in an undergraduate Engineering degree program with a co-operative education requirement.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks drafting software.
- Mechanical design and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong documentation abilities.
- Excellent team player with adaptability to changing priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Access.
- Strong multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and crouch continuously, and to climb stairs and ladders.
