Responsibilities
- Minimum of two years of professional experience in wastewater system modelling, particularly in model calibration and validation for projects in the ANZ and UK & I regions.
- Proficient in using Infoworks ICM for hydraulic modelling of wastewater networks.
- Familiarity with additional modelling platforms such as Water GEMS, SewerGEMS, StormCAD, PCSWMM, HEC-RAS, and GeoPak is preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in wet utilities including potable water, stormwater drainage, treated sewage effluent, and sewerage systems, covering both pressure and gravity designs using AutoCAD 2D and Civil 3D.
- Experience working within a Common Data Environment, including tools like ProjectWise and BIM 360, with the ability to lead projects, coordinate with lead offices, mentor junior staff, and conduct quality assurance.
- Delivers technical training and support to design teams on Building Information Modeling systems, enabling 3D model creation based on project specifications and content planning.
- Applies AutoCAD Civil 3D skills across all project phases from initial concept to final delivery.
- Engages in the creation of concept, preliminary, and detailed engineering drawings and plans, including general arrangements, drainage layouts, plan/profile sheets, cross sections, and construction details.
- Executes design tasks according to defined standards, covering earthworks modelling, sanitary and storm sewer systems, watermain layouts, road and driveway grading, lot grading, and stormwater management features such as retention ponds and other control structures.
