Mindrift is hiring a freelance Energy Systems Engineer to participate in project-based work testing and improving AI systems for leading tech companies. In this role, you will apply your professional expertise to help train and evaluate AI models.
What You'll Do
- Design rigorous energy engineering problems reflecting professional practice.
- Evaluate AI solutions for correctness, assumptions, and constraints.
- Validate calculations and simulations using Python with NumPy, Pandas, and SciPy.
- Improve AI reasoning to align with industry-standard logic.
- Apply structured scoring criteria to multi-step problems.
What We're Looking For
- A degree in Energy Engineering or related fields such as Electrical, Power Systems, Renewable Energy, or Electronics Engineering.
- 3+ years of professional energy engineering experience.
- Strong written English proficiency at the C1/C2 level.
- Strong Python proficiency for numerical validation.
- A stable internet connection.
Nice to Have
- Professional certifications such as PE, CEng, EMP, or CEM.
- Experience in international or applied projects.
