Care Access is hiring an Employee Onboarding and Orientation Coordinator

About the Role

Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding experience for new hires, ensuring all administrative, training, and integration tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Organize orientation schedules for incoming employees
  • Prepare onboarding documentation and materials
  • Coordinate training sessions with department leads
  • Ensure compliance with company policies during onboarding
  • Track completion of onboarding milestones
  • Communicate with HR and hiring managers to align onboarding timelines
  • Maintain accurate employee records during initial employment phase
  • Provide support to new employees during their first weeks
  • Gather feedback to improve onboarding processes
  • Schedule necessary background checks and clearances
  • Assist with employment paperwork and digital form submissions
  • Introduce new staff to company culture and values
  • Coordinate facility tours and equipment setup
  • Monitor onboarding progress using internal systems
  • Respond to employee inquiries about onboarding steps
  • Ensure all legal and regulatory requirements are met
  • Facilitate introductions between new hires and team members
  • Manage access permissions for systems and facilities
  • Update onboarding checklists as processes evolve
  • Report on onboarding metrics and participation rates
  • Support remote onboarding when applicable
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee data
  • Collaborate with IT to provision work tools
  • Verify completion of required training modules
  • Escalate onboarding issues to HR leadership when needed

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the coordination of new employee onboarding from offer acceptance through the first 90 days
  • Ensure all pre-employment steps are completed on time
  • Customize onboarding plans based on department needs
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of orientation sessions
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires before start date
