Digital Insurance LLC is hiring an Employee Benefits Practice Trainer to develop strategic capabilities in our producers and consultants. This role blends coaching, training, and strategic development to elevate sales performance and client engagement through deep expertise in employee benefits.
What You'll Do
- Develop comprehensive learning journeys for producers and consultants across all levels, from foundational product knowledge to advanced strategic consulting.
- Integrate employee benefits-specific tools and enablement resources into training, focusing on advanced strategies like cost containment and funding mechanisms.
- Build and deliver content through on-demand modules, live workshops, and personalized coaching sessions tailored to diverse learning styles.
- Coach producers on leveraging technology to identify cross-practice convergence opportunities, interpret AI-driven insights, and present strategic solutions.
- Facilitate workshops and office hours focused on client-facing applications of strategic tools.
- Support producers in preparing for high-stakes prospect meetings.
- Analyze performance data and feedback to refine training programs and measure impact on producer effectiveness.
- Stay current on trends in employee benefits, compliance, funding models, and client expectations.
- Partner with marketing, product, analytics, and sales teams to align training with evolving market demands.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience with proven success as an employee benefits producer or consultant.
- Proven success in training or coaching roles within the benefits industry.
- Experience in instructional design and adult learning principles.
- Deep understanding of funding mechanisms, compliance, and vendor ecosystems.
- Strong facilitation and coaching skills with ability to connect theory to practice and simplify complex concepts.
- Ability to analyze talent data and translate insights into actionable development strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build relationships and influence without authority across departments.
- Strong technological savvy with LMS platforms, virtual delivery tools, GenAI, CRM platforms, and sales tech.

- Flexible, but structured, approach to building training curriculums that incorporate adult learning theory.
- Detail oriented and process driven.
- Microsoft Suite experience, including D365.
