Tecnológico de Monterrey is hiring an Emotional Counselor to contribute to student well-being development through formative and preventive activities. Our community focuses on education, innovation, research, and excellence to positively transform our environment.
What You'll Do
- Ensure compliance with institutional guidelines, principles, values, and regulations in national emotional counseling processes.
- Provide students with tools for developing formative skills for self-knowledge, interpersonal relationships, and decision-making to help them face crisis situations and risks.
- Refer students in vulnerable situations requiring external accompaniment and follow up on those cases.
- Design and follow up on success plans established with each student to promote their well-being.
- Document the accompaniment provided to the student in the institutional tool miVidaTec.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a Master's in Education or Psychology.
- Experience working in educational institutions as a tutor or student advisor.
- Collaboration and leadership skills.
- Crisis management skills.
