Eaton Corporation is seeking an Embedded Software Engineering Intern for a twelve-week paid internship at the Thomas A. Edison Technical Center in Franksville, WI. You will collaborate directly with seasoned engineers on multi-disciplined new product development teams, contributing through engineering analysis, design creation, and unit test development.

What You'll Do

Develop hardware drivers and embedded applications, focusing on networking and related areas primarily using C, C++, and Python.
Collaborate with global multi-discipline engineering teams (software, embedded software, hardware, power systems, systems, product, and test) to deliver products and features.
Set aggressive goals, measure performance, and strive to exceed expectations.
Work and communicate effectively within a global team environment.

What We're Looking For

Actively enrolled in or recently received a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science from an accredited institution.
Graduation date must be no earlier than December 2026.
A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above.

Nice to Have

Prior internship or co-op experience.
Junior or higher academic standing.
A minimum GPA of 3.2 or above.
Development experience using C/C++, Python, or other programming languages.
Familiarity with Agile Scrum or other iterative development methodologies.
