Responsibilities
- Provide a focal point for all E&I based queries for associated subcontractors / suppliers for assigned projects and tasks
- Ability to prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, electrical and instrumentation design specifications, detailed designs and work packs/scopes of work.
- Providing Subject Matter Expert (SME) technical support and guidance to the maintenance and projects teams.
- Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders such as field crews, clients and subcontractors to achieve desired outcomes, showcasing strong people management skills across multiple backgrounds.
- Track performance of key metrics and take action to drive continuous improvement
Requirements
- Tertiary Electrical Engineering Qualifications
- Experience in engineering, and commissioning for major resources sites within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical or similar industries.
- Site experience in investigations, scoping, commissioning and contractor management.
- Expertise in the design and specification of electrical and instrumentation for hazardous areas.
- Knowledge and exposure to PLC, SCADA, tank inventory and network systems.
- Efficient use of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems.
- Effective verbal and written communication capability.
