UGL is looking for an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to provide safe, reliable, and efficient technical expertise to our Projects Teams. You will coordinate engineering support for client terminal and refining operations throughout the East Australia Region. What You'll Do
- Provide a focal point for all E&I based queries for associated subcontractors and suppliers on assigned projects.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, electrical and instrumentation design specifications, detailed designs, and work packs.
- Provide Subject Matter Expert technical support and guidance to maintenance and projects teams.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders, such as field crews, clients, and subcontractors, to achieve desired outcomes.
- Track performance of key metrics and take action to drive continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Tertiary Electrical Engineering Qualifications.
- Experience in engineering and commissioning for major resources sites within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical, or similar industries.
- Site experience in investigations, scoping, commissioning, and contractor management.
- Expertise in the design and specification of electrical and instrumentation for hazardous areas.
- Knowledge and exposure to PLC, SCADA, tank inventory, and network systems.
- Efficient use of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems.
- Effective verbal and written communication capability.
